Great Book! I am a sucker for a re-telling of a Beauty and the Beast story, however this is not why I truly liked this story, since I much prefer it, if the hero is not just figuritevely a beast, but also literally as well, at least a little. I just liked this book for its own sake, putting the Beauty & The Beast theme aside. The romance was wonderful, I loved that the man was so smitten, though for my taste he was just too perfect looking. In romance books of any genre, I enjoy when the hero is attractive, even handsome, but not over the top perfection, since he already has so much power over the heroine in power, fortune, prestige or whatever the case might be in the particular story line, so I love for the heroine to have one over him, in the looks department. However, I was grateful, that though her looks did not out-shine his in this story, she was at least beautiful in her own right, without forcing some physical imperfection on her, such as been on the chubby side and/or a scar. Actually I loved this book for what it was: a fun, light hearted, romantic tale.

This was a short simple romance story -- no climax, no misunderstandings, no real issues between the two main characters. It was okay for a quick simple read.
A beautifully written love story. I like that they got to know each other before they became a couple. The epilogue was great!
Loved loved loved it !!!!! Sweet and romantic !!!! Loved the characters strong alpha male and a strong sassy female. Can't wait for another in this series.
As a beauty and the beast story line, I would rate this a 3.5 to 4, but as an afternoon splurge, which is what I was looking for, I say it tips the scale over 4 into 5 territory. It was very sweet and you can't help but fall in love with Drake. I really enjoyed the crazy supporting characters. )
I really enjoyed this book and hope for more stories about the other characters. Tessa is a strong and confident woman who is more than capable of handling the antisocial hero. It really does show that everyone has a story and you shouldn't judge a person just on hearsay. I recommend it to anyone who has ever been on the outside looking in. There is someone out there just waiting to love you....you beast...happy reading.
I thoroughly enjoyed this book. Drake was such a sweetie for being such a beast. But as the story goes on we learn the reasons behind the way he is. This is a delicious, satisfying story. Tessa captivates Drake from the first time he lays eyes on her. She was his from that moment, they just didn't realize it. This is truly a feel good romance and I couldn't have enjoyed it more. (Maybe if it had been longer?) I definitely recommend this book. Enjoy!😀 This is about the way has changed the way these reviews are counted for each book. It was a number count which was easy to see and understand (at least for me) now they have it as a percentage. What's up with that? Instead of knowing at a glance the number of each review, we're supposed to do math in our heads? Where is the upgrade? To me it is a major Downgrade. Just saying. I hate it in case you are actually paying attention.😣 This has nothing to do with this book.
HOLY COW BATMAN!!! This book was HOTTTTT. I am still watching the fumes emanating from my body after finishing this AMAZING book. It's not a long book but BOY does it pact a punch and then some. What AMAZING character and what a wonderfully solid story. What I found equally interesting is that she added really interesting characters here and she has done nothing with them as far as a sequel is concerned. Come on now Ms. Roma...you can't expect to make obsessed fans of your work with this book and then leave us hanging. No, No, No. Please don't do that to us. Pretty please. With sugar on top! All your fans will be good girls and guys. We promise. I did notice another book that seems to belong with this book but it is in only. I only read in paperback so am I screwed??? Please say it isn't so. You have AT LEAST 8 solid characters to choose from. Our secretary, VP, chef, driver, Brett, etc. I am begging you, even though I think I already did that, but I'll do it again. Get busy, let the other books go for a bit, and get busy with our peeps.
